"LIFE IN A BOX"  Words and Music by Charlotte A. Martin

I wrote this song as I was going through a very difficult time in my life. We all know that we don't see things the same way. But perhaps at this point in time, I did not know that we all did not see eye to eye. Something happened and it began to change.

I'm afraid that I just ran into a wall. Looks like I'm going to have a change. Change is hard the older I become. And right now I don't want to. I can hear the voice of reason. I can see the writing on the wall. And I know I'm on your shoulders. And you won't let me fall. No you won't let me fall.

We are here with all our weakness. Searching for elusive right ways. Sometimes we try a little too hard. Sometimes we don't try enough. But you won't let me fall. No you won't let me fall.

We all don't live life in a box. We all don't have the same answers. We all don't see eye to eye. But we know the eyes of God...are upon us.

I just watched the perfect stranger. Walk into the room and sit down. And right there in front of me. This stranger broke my heart. But you won't let me fall. No you won't let me fall.

We all don't live life in a box. We all don't have the same answers. We all don't see eye to eye. But we know the eyes of God are upon us.

We all don't live life in a box. We all don't have the same answers. We all don't see eye to eye. But we know the eyes of God are upon us.

I just watched the perfect stranger. Walk into the room and sit down.
